Technician Assistants help the doctors and technicians. Our Technician Assistants are usually the ones that greet you in the lobby and escort you to the exam rooms when you come in for an appointment. They will ask you questions to get a complete history and the reason for your visit and help the doctor during the office call as needed. Behind the scenes they assist in the general functionality of our hospital.
Jessica is part of the Veterinary Assistant Team here at Yalesville. Our Veterinary Assistants are a critical part of any exam and you may see Jessica if you come in for a wellness or sick exam. She does the initial intake, works with the doctors during the exam and will make sure you have everything you need when the exam is completed.
Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and is pursuing her teaching certification so she can teach art in the Connecticut school systems. She shares her home with a dog named Dutch and Spatz the cat.
Ashley joined the Yalesville staff as a member of the Client Service Team. She quickly realized that working with animals was her passion and she enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Middlesex. Ashley is on track to graduate and sit for her certification in May of 2019.
Ashley shares her home with 3 dogs, Camo, Tucker, Blue, a cat named Tiger and a Pot Belly Pig named Daisy.
Caylee joined our staff as a Kennel Assistant here at Yalesville in 2016 and is now one of Technician Assistants. Her love for animals made working at a veterinary a great fit. You will find Caylee performing technician appointments as well as assisting the doctors with their scheduled exams.
Caylee has a love for sporting breed dogs and works with them in the field. She currently has a new pointer, Dash, along with her other pointer, Baxter, and a black lab named Chester. She is enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program with her ultimate goal of certification and working as a dental hygienist.
Alex came to Yalesville after enrolling in the Veterinary Technician Program at Middlesex. She is part of the Technician Assistant team and assists the doctors with exams as well as performing scheduled technician appointments. Alex anticipates graduating from the Vet Tech Program in May of 2019 and will then sit for her certification exam. She is looking forward to continued learning and growing as a Veterinary Technician.
Alex happily shares her home with 2 "spoiled" guinea pigs named George and Moe.
Brian is involved in every area of the hospital imaginable. He assists in surgery preparation, helping the technicians and helping with the admit and discharge of pets to their families.
Brian has been with YVH since 2004 having previously worked with senior citizens and also other veterinary facilities. Brian lives in Bristol with his 2 cats.
